Gabby is perpetually hungry. When he wants more food, he gives me not-so-gentle feedback.

At the start, I indulged him and didn’t understand when none of his beds fit him. I thought they were the wrong size until the vet told me he was overweight. He’s lost two kilos since I put him on a diet but it’s no easy task keeping him away from food.

I was going to write how I want him to understand it’s for the best so he doesn’t get arthritis or suffer when he’s older but I don’t need him to understand that. I just need to do my bit.
