These days it’s muesli bars

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

I wanted to stop buying it from the store and figured it would be healthier to make my own muesli bars.

It’s relatively easy as you’re essentially mixing a bunch of things but a bit messy. First, you heat up some honey and peanut butter over the stove and keep stirring for five minutes which may give you a bit of a sore wrist. Then you pour it over your dry ingredients in a bowl which includes rolled oats, sultanas, chopped almonds, pepitas and sesame seeds. It’s a bit awkward trying to jab the mixture with a wooden spoon to evenly coat it. Next, press it into a pan, refrigerate for two hours and then slice into individual bars.

I used this recipe: https://www.recipetineats.com/muesli-bars-granola-bars/

The first time I had it, I thought it was a bit rich but now I’m eating it every single day. It’s my current obsession.
